I believe that good visualization can reveal the data and add value to business. I’ve been working with data visualization as a product manager and BI engineer since 2015. But I was keen on dataviz all the way along when I used to be a business consultant for an international consulting firm and an R&D engineer. I hold an PhD degree in engineering and used dataviz as a scientific tool for hypothesizing and designing new equipment. Nowadays I'm Head of Data Visualization team at Yandex Taxi a joint venture of Uber and Yandex. It is the largest profitable ride-hailing company in the world. Also I have a blog and Youtube channel about data visualization.
I was invited to lead a Data Visualization team to enhance dataviz culture in the company. I created a number of training programs, implemented a style guide and Agile approach to manage BI system as a product.
I was in charge of SaaS BI product for pharmaceutical companies. I provided a Customer Journey Map, created a set of dashboards, a style guide wich I implemented in a new version of the company's product.
I dealt with numerous dataviz projects. The biggest one was managing an R&D team for the
SkyBonds service. It is an analytical financial service based on visual analysis. I implemented agile approach for rapid prototyping and hypothesis testing. Also started an training stream about Tableau in the company.
I started my blog about data visualization. It always was a part of my professional interest and I decided to put more attention to this field.
